 C O N C L U S I O N
Today the Kelly Gang are remembered either as Heroes or
Outlaws, whatever your view we all agree that the Kelly Gang were an important
part in the making of federation. Many old Kelly relics are recently on sale;
for example Ned Kelly's shoulder piece which sold for just over $200,0000 this
year (2001),many places in Kelly country are still scarcely scared by the outbreak, like
Glenrowan 255 kilometres from Melbourne, the town has a 6 metre Ned Kelly statue, Australia's
first live robotic animated theatre, two souvenir stores ,the original site of
the siege at Glenrowan took place, including a replica sign-board of the
Glenrowan Inn and a replica railway station. A small pistol was found in 1997
believed to have dropped during the siege 121 years ago, a marker marks the spot
where it was found. Mr Edward Kelly and his Gang can now be seen everywhere from
plates to mugs all the way down to Handkerchiefs, he and his gang are well known, in
fact, they are best known Australian Bushrangers.

MY VIEW ON THE KELLY GANG.
My view for a start, you may clearly be able to tell by the way I write and
speak highly of The Kelly Gang, I honestly think they were pushed into a life of
crime, and didn't take up arms on there own accord, I believe Fitzpatrick was
the cause of all this.

PLANS FOR THE FUTURE.
Some plans for the future is to keep Kelly country in north-eastern Victoria alive, local
charity groups such as "The Glenrowan Improvers" have done a good job
re-building attractions in and around Kelly Country. You can take a peek at
yesteryear with Kate Kelly's Cottage situated at 35 Gladstone street Glenrowan
3765 Phone:(03) 5766 2448, for more info on Kate's Cottager check out or tourism
section. Who have built a replica of Ned Kelly's home, to increase tourism, there
is as I said earlier" Ned Kelly's Last stand live, animated, Australia's first, robotic
theatre, which is a world famous.
